Client Horse Spotlight: French Seeker
Some horses just feel like all the pieces fall into place, and Slim is one of them. After the loss of a very special gelding for my younger sister, our mom began looking for a horse that could be a true lifelong partner. Something steady, easygoing, and kind. I reached out to Emily at Sansarc Rose Quarter Horses, who has placed horses with us before and knows our family well. After a few conversations, she suggested a gelding bred very similarly to one I had previously started, Figured You French. And as fate would have it, he also happened to be a palomino roan.
Lynds hasn’t always had the best luck with horses. She’s been stepped on, bucked off, and even thrown into farm equipment. Out of everyone, she deserves a partner that’s not only flashy but also gentle and trustworthy. I feel truly honored to be the one starting Slim and setting the foundation for their partnership.
I cannot wait to see the two of them grow together. This is the kind of match that reminds me why I love doing what I do.
